Combating drug and alcohol misuse is a vital part of our work in reducing crime and making Colchester safer and like any other part of the country, we need to have a range of projects that address the many complex issues involved. These projects may include treatment, social care, mental health, developing self-esteem and self-confidence, accessing housing, education, poverty, employment, accessing benefits, family/carer support and police enforcement.
